This policy explains how Jekaplay Online collects, uses, stores, and protects information across our mobile app, website, customer dashboard, ordering, arcade, wallet, loyalty, referral, payment, support, and staff operations.

Information we collect

  • Account details such as name, email address, phone number, preferred language, profile image, verification status, and login activity.
  • Order and checkout information such as branch, order type, delivery area, menu items, quantities, promo codes, totals, and receipt references.
  • Arcade session information such as selected station, booked minutes, session status, extensions, stops, and session references.
  • Payment information such as payment method, amount, status, internal reference, gateway reference, refund records, and transaction history.
  • Wallet, loyalty, and referral information such as balances, reward transactions, referral code, referred users, and referral reward activity.
  • Support and notification information such as support tickets, replies, notification delivery records, device registration details, and push tokens.

How we use information

  • To create and manage your account, authenticate access, and keep your session secure.
  • To process food orders, arcade sessions, payments, wallet balances, loyalty rewards, referrals, receipts, and refunds.
  • To send service messages about orders, payments, support replies, loyalty activity, referrals, and operational updates.
  • To support staff workflows such as order fulfillment, POS checkout, customer support, inventory, reports, and audit records.
  • To detect abuse, investigate errors, protect users, enforce platform policies, and improve the reliability of the service.

Payments and third parties

Payments may be processed through payment providers such as Paystack, Monnify, POS terminals, bank transfer, card, wallet, or manual staff-confirmed payment flows. We store transaction references, amounts, statuses, and related order/session links. We do not intentionally store full card numbers in Jekaplay Online.

We may also use infrastructure providers for hosting, email, SMS, push notifications, logging, and operational support. These providers only receive information needed to deliver the service.

Location, branch, and delivery data

Jekaplay Online uses branch and delivery-area information to show available menu items, calculate delivery fees, route orders, and support staff operations. If precise device location is added in a future app version, it will be requested through the device permission flow before use.

Retention

Account profile data is retained while your account is active. Order, arcade, payment, wallet, loyalty, referral, support, receipt, audit, and reporting records may be retained after account closure where needed for financial records, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling, tax/accounting, operational audit, or platform security.

Your choices

  • You can update profile details such as name, phone, and preferred language from your profile.
  • You can request account deletion from the account deletion page.
  • You can contact support to ask for access, correction, or review of your personal information.

Security

We use authenticated access, staff permissions, audit records, token-based API access, and operational controls to protect user information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to limit access to people and services that need the information to operate Jekaplay Online.
